Mentoring Program

The Mentorship Program matches industry veterans with mentees providing an important foundation for mentees to learn more quickly about the industry, streamline their professional pursuits, provide education for specialized topics, and offer advice toward achieving work-life balance.

Become a Mentee

It's your chance to engage, grow, and flourish as you navigate your journey in the wireless industry!

We are looking for entry-level females in the wireless industry (no more than 5 years’ experience) who would be willing to dedicate one hour of their time each quarter to a participate in a call (or in-person meeting when possible) with their Mentor.

Candidates with different backgrounds and specializations are welcome - Project Management, IT, Sales, Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, etc.

Mentee Requirements

  • Consistently participate in monthly Mentorship meetings with Mentor (either in-person or via phone)

  • Actively prepare for Mentorship meetings; collaborate on creating an agenda, complete tasks/deliverables assigned by Mentor
  • Assist mentor with keeping monthly meeting logs and other required deliverables as described in the Program Plan

Become a Mentor

It's your chance to make a difference in the lives of women starting out in the wireless industry!

We are looking for female wireless industry veterans (at least 10 years) who would be willing to dedicate one hour of their time each quarter to a call (or in-person meeting when possible) with their Mentee.

Mentors with different backgrounds and specializations are welcome -- Project Management, IT, Sales, Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, etc.

Mentor Requirements

  • Consistently participate in monthly Mentorship meetings with Mentee (either in-person or via phone)
  • Actively prepare for Mentorship meetings; provide agenda, assign appropriate tasks/deliverables to Mentee
  • Provide monthly meeting logs and other required deliverables as described in WWLF's Mentoring ouline
  • Attend at least two networking events with Mentee
  • Work at WWLF booth and event registration table, participate in comprehensive WIA itinerary or otherwise represent WWLF however deemed appropriate during WIA
