Best Practices and Legal Considerations for Business Teams in the Telecommunications Industry

    Lori Miller

This webinar is designed to equip business teams in the telecommunications industry with essential knowledge and best practices in three key legal and communication areas: attorney-client privilege, email communications, and contract review considerations.

Participants will gain an understanding of how attorney-client privilege applies in a corporate setting. The session will clarify what types of communication are protected, how to preserve the privilege, and common pitfalls that can result in unintentional waiver.

As email remains a primary mode of business communication, we’ll talk about best practices for drafting emails to protect sensitive information and avoiding inadvertently creating liability for the company. Topics include avoiding ambiguous language, recognizing when to involve legal counsel, using appropriate tone and structure, and safeguarding sensitive information.

This webinar will also provide advice for business professionals regarding the critical elements of contract evaluation. Attendees will learn what to look for in terms of liability, indemnity, termination clauses, and regulatory compliance specific to the telecom industry. Practical tips will be shared for collaborating effectively with legal teams during contract negotiation and review.
