A Message from your President
Dear WWLF Members,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your President of the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum (WWLF). I am excited about the opportunities to grow our organization as we continue to Keep Women Connected.
As I take on this new role, I welcome the other members of our Executive Leadership Team who were elected and appointed to serve during the 2019 – 2020 term:
Our team, along with the Executive Directors of our seven committees, are focused on providing programs which help women grow professionally, engage with other colleagues, and contribute individually.
During the coming weeks, we will provide more information about our new and enhanced programs and benefits. I have no doubt that with our network of highly-engaged members, sponsors and partners, we will have another successful year. One of the initiatives of our board is to have every member participating on a committee, attending regional events, and taking advantage of our educational tools. As you consider your career aspirations and your engagement with WWLF, please let me know how we can support you as you become more involved with our community.
As we look forward with enthusiasm, I would like to thank our outgoing President, Amelia DeJesus, for her leadership of WWLF over the past two years. During Amelia's tenure, WWLF Impact groups were established, membership and sponsorship increased, and WWLF was awarded the "Organization with the Biggest Impact" from the California Wireless Association. On the heels of these accomplishments, we are excited to expand current programs and introduce new opportunities during the 2019-2020 term.
On behalf of our Executive Leadership Team and Executive Directors, thank you for your membership and continued support. We look forward to keeping wireless women connected in 2019 and beyond.
