Telecom Trailblazers
About Telecom TrailblazersTelecom Trailblazers is an initiative launched by WIA and the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum to encourage STEM learning, teach young women about digital infrastructure and inspire them to pursue careers in telecommunications. Established in 2024, programming for the initiative is carried out in partnership with IGNITE Worldwide, a non-profit dedicated to achieving gender equity in STEM by connecting girls with STEM opportunities during the school day. Telecom Trailblazers offers fun, hands-on science, technology, engineering, and mathematical challenges to promote STEM learning, confidence, and identity in girls, with the goal of sparking interest in telecom and broadband infrastructure.
