Nominations Are Officially Open!

The 2026 WWLF Leadership Election nomination period is officially open!

If you’ve ever thought about stepping into a leadership role within WWLF, this is your opportunity to put your name forward—or nominate someone you believe would be a strong addition to the organization’s leadership.

WWLF members may nominate themselves or another eligible WWLF member for the following ELT positions:

✨ President
✨ Vice President
✨ Secretary
✨ Treasurer

Who is eligible to run?

Candidates must:

• Be a WWLF member in good standing
• Have previously served on the WWLF Board for at least one year
• Be nominated during the designated nomination period

President candidates must also submit a platform statement outlining their experience and proposed goals. Candidates for the other ELT positions are encouraged to submit a qualifications statement explaining their applicable experience.

Nominations are open October 5–19, 2026.

Whether you nominate yourself or recognize someone else who you believe should consider serving, we encourage you to participate.

And to be clear: there are no pre-selected candidates or predetermined outcomes. Every eligible candidate who steps forward during the nomination period will receive equal consideration.
