Join WWLF in South Carolina for National Volunteer Week on Saturday, April 27th at Harvest Hope Food Bank. We will be sorting and packing boxes to be distributed to the community. All volunteers will need to wear closed toe closed heel shoes and comfortable, casual clothes with layers. Join Kristen Marano, San Diego City Rep for WWLF Tuesday, May 7^th to pack snack bags with San Diego Rescue Mission. This is open to our San Diego wireless community! This is a limited space event (15 people max) and we encourage those actively in the wireless/telecom industry to sign up first.

About San Diego Rescue Mission:

Since 1955, the San Diego Rescue Mission has been providing meals, shelter, clothing, education and job-skills training for men, women, and single parents with children experiencing homelessness.

Project for up to 15 volunteers max.

In connection with Connect (X), Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum, WWLF is hosting its first professional development symposium. This program is something our leaders have been asking for because so often we jump at the chance to mentor younger professionals, but we don’t, in turn, have similar opportunities for investment in ourselves. 

This half-day program will be held the Monday before the show, May 13. We will kick off with a keynote by a local professional development coach, Sally Williamson, who will speak on the topic of storytelling and how to tell your career narrative. This will be followed by two panels lead by industry professionals – the first panel will talk about breaking free from the trap of “perfection” and the second panel will discuss how to be a diplomatic leader.
